The Center for the Study of Co*Design at Osaka University was established in July 2016 to connect people and knowledge from different fields and to nurture individuals capable of using their expertise to solve social issues and create new value. The center aims to equip students with highly transferable skills in problem finding, problem solving and implementation.
The center has been developing and implementing a curriculum including the Communication Design Courses to help undergraduate and graduate students learn advanced liberal arts and versatility across disciplines. Students explore a broad interest in society and acquire a variety of skills to identify issues. The Co*Design Courses including Problem-Based Learning (PBL) are tailored specifically for graduate students.
We invite applications for a faculty position responsible for the design and development of such an educational curriculum.
Application Deadline : 5 pm, Tuesday, August 25, 2020 (Japan Standard Time)
